My name is Fleur, and I am finishing my Bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology at Thomas More College in January. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a strong interest in neuropsychology and psychodiagnostics. For my final internship, I have been granted the opportunity to work at the Neuropsychology Lab at KU Leuven. During this internship, I am involved in data collection for a research project led by PhD student Elise Palmans, which focuses on investigating cognitive functions in patients recovering from a stroke. This internship provides a valuable opportunity for me to apply my two main areas of interest in a practical and research-oriented setting.
