After obtaining my master’s degree in Theoretical & Experimental Psychology at Ghent University, I wanted to continue to learn about, and further investigate the mechanisms of our fascinating human brain. I recently joined the Neuropsychology Lab to pursue a PhD in collaboration with the HOP lab of prof. Hans Op de Beeck.
In this project, we will investigate the impact of brain damage on visual processing. Additionally, the role of domain general cognitive functions in interaction with these visual processes will be explored. To this end, we will utilize both neuroimaging methods (in healthy and patient populations) as well as computational models.
