Introducing the MESSY
- On 09/02/2024
❓ How would you measure sensory sensitivity after acquired brain injury?
🌟 The Multi-Modal Evaluation of Sensory Sensitivity – the MESSY – is a validated questionnaire that maps sensitivity for sensory stimuli (visual, auditory, tactile, motion, chemosensory, and environmental temperature) after acquired brain injury. Two versions exist: one designed for adults staying in a hospital or rehabilitation center, and one designed for non-hospitalized adults (this latter one is now freely available in Dutch). In addition, the MESSY can also be used in neurologically healthy people. English and Italian translations are on their way!
